Alert: Mental Health Support for Children and Young People

Talk" is a new single point of referral to mental health services for under 18s. It is run by Isle Listen and CAHMS.
School is usually the most appropriate referrer. Parents/guardians and young people can also self-refer. Where appropriate you should signpost to either of those options.
Referrals and self-referrals can be done at talk.islelisten.im
GPs may occasionally need to make a direct referral.
Those in crisis should still contact CAHMS in-hours on 642875 or CRHTT (Crisis Team) out of hours on 642860.

The Kensington Group Practice is a partnership of six doctors with approximately 10,000 registered patients, based in Westmoreland Road, Douglas, covering Douglas, Onchan, Baldrine, Laxey (before Fairy Cottage), Santon, St Johns and Foxdale. The practice also has an Clinical Pharmacist, Nurse Practitioner, Diabetes Specialist Nurse and two Practice Nurses.

In an emergency such as chest pain, Dial 999 for an Ambulance.

 If you need to see a doctor whilst the surgery is closed and it cannot wait till the surgery re-opens contact the

Manx Emergency Doctor Service (MEDS) on 01624 650355 and a doctor will be able to offer you advice over the telephone or a consultation.

Please note this is an emergency service and should not be used for routine ailments.
